All Aboard America’s only moving Bed & Breakfast Train!
5 pm Board the restored train and get settled into your traditional Pullman Double Bedroom featuring upper and lower beds, a toilet annex and sink. After you stow your pilot case wander down to the lounge car for a cocktail to get the evening started off right.
6 pm As the train departs the station, your hostess will call for dinner seating in one of our dining cars. You always get a table for two if you come as a couple or seated at adjacent tables if you come as a group. Dinner service begins with an appetizer plate, followed by a fresh dinner salad, a cup of soup and then your choice of one of 5 preselected entrees. A little later you will delight to a generous slice of Eli’s Gourmet Cheese Cake. The train travels at a very leisurely pace and you are able to get up and move around the train as it glides through farm fields, deep woods and along the scenic Namekagon River.
9 pm The train returns to the station and parks for the night. Play a game in the lounge, enjoy another cocktail, sit around the gas fire out on the station patio or just sit and enjoy pleasant conversation with your fellow travelers. Each person has a train story so take time to share yours. Head back to your bedroom when you are ready and laugh with your partner at the compact sleeping cabins. Remember the B&B train showcases the best of the 1950’s travel experience. In the morning grab a shower at the end of your sleeping car before enjoying a continental breakfast of coffee, juice, muffins and donuts from 6 am to 8 am. Between 8 am and 9 am a hot breakfast buffet is served in the dining car.
Check out is 10 am, which will give you plenty of time to plan a great day in Northwest Wisconsin.
