Each of these events will feature the very best food served to you onboard one of our historic climate controlled dining cars. You are sure to delight in the service and the train ride. Regular Dining Experiences
Elegant Dinner Train - Friday Night at 6 pm
(May 3 - December 20, 2013)$50 Adult Order Tickets
The Elegant Dinner Train features dinner service in our climate controlled, mahogany interior dining car from 1918. The cash bar opens in the club car one hour prior to departure to get your experience off to a great start. Immediately after departure from the Depot passengers will be seated for dinner. Dinner begins with a sampling of Wisconsin Cheeses, dinner salad, soup de jour, choice of Flat Iron Steak, Grilled Boneless Pork Chops, Shrimp Scampi or Vegetarian Pasta and finish with a delightful Lemon Mist Cake. After dinner enjoy quiet conversation at your table or move back to the club car and dance to sounds of the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
Tony's Riverside Family Pizza Train

One of our most popular trains each year is our Family Pizza Train. Tony's Riverside in Spooner continues to supply their famous pizza for this great family train. This train is available weekly during our season usually on Saturday at Noon with extra trains on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 4 pm during July and August. The pizza train features a 16 mile, 1.5 hour roundtrip aboard our historic train, 1/2 pizza per person and a complimentary beverage of your choice. Celebrate your parents on their special day by treating them to a very special buffet lunch on this 20-mile roundtrip from Trego Depot to Bean Creek. As the train departs the Depot, you are seated in the dining car to begin your lunch experience. This buffet meal features a salad bar, choice of meats, biscuits & gravy, french toast, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, chefs choice vegetables, fresh dinner rolls, mini muffins, mini danish, and your choice of coffee, iced tea, lemonade, juice or milk. This dining option requires passengers to serve themselves at our buffet. You will love the scenery as the train passes through Wisconsin's north woods and along the beautiful Namekagon River.
Great Thanksgiving Buffet

Give thanks for your family and friends by treating them to a very special buffet lunch on this 20-mile roundtrip from Trego Depot to Springbrook. As the train departs the Depot, you are seated in the dining car to begin your lunch experience. This buffet meal features: a salad bar, roasted turkey, ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, wild rice pilaf, stuffing, corn o'brien, dilled baby carrots, fresh dinner rolls, and your choice of coffee, iced tea, lemonade, or milk. There's even pumpkin pie for desert. You will love the scenery as the train passes through Wisconsin's north woods, along the beautiful Namekagon River, over the Bean Creek Trestle, and along the shore of Green Lake.
Santa's Pizza Party - Saturday 12:00 pm departure

Santa's Pizza Party is a popular new way to celebrate the holiday season with your kids because it combines everyone's favorite meal with a scenic train ride and a visit with Santa. Year after year Tony's Riverside, the popular Spooner gathering place, cooks up the best pizza around and delivers it hot to the train. Your ticket aboard Santa's Pizza Party Train includes the 2 1/2 hour train ride, 1/2 pizza per person and your first soda, a visit with Santa in his private car, a special gift for each child, and a holiday cookie and hot chocolate on the return trip. Family rate includes 2 adults and 3-5 children, 2 pizzas and a soda for each person. Make your reservations for this family favorite.
