Wedding Lunch Train - Scheduled Train  $1895.00 +

The Wedding Lunch Train is a great way to provide your guests with a complete experience at a reasonable cost to you. The Wedding Lunch Train is available on any scheduled noon Springbrook departure during the operating season.

The Wedding Lunch Train will begin with your guests being seated in the Chapel Car prior to departure from the Spooner Depot. Shortly after departure your ceremony will begin. Following your ceremony you and your guests will proceed to the dining car for your choice of one of our fine banquet lunches.  Menu options include:  Chicken Cordon Bleu, Roast Beef, Baked Ham, Lemon Breast of Chicken, or Honey Glazed Pork Chop. All meals begin with a dinner salad; include a dinner roll and two-beverage choice. Following lunch your wedding cake will be served prior to the train returning to the station following the 2 ½ hour, 30-mile roundtrip to Springbrook.

 The Wedding Lunch Train will include:

  • Chapel Car Everlasting for your ceremony

  • Dining/Lounge Car Arrowhead for your reception

  • Up to 40 guests included in base package price

  • Choice of lunch options listed above

  • A silk bridal bouquet and attendant bouquet

  • A silk grooms boutonniere and attendant boutonniere

  • A special unity candle

  • A digital picture CD containing basic photos of your ceremony

  • Custom tickets with your name and wedding date

  • Custom ticket folders to send tickets to your guests

  • Custom wedding program listing information about your ceremony

 Options That Can Be Added:

  • Up to 45 additional guests for only $34.95 each
  • Beverage Service in the lounge car is available by prior arrangement

To book the Wedding Lunch Package at the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad, please make your selections and press submit order now below.  A non-refundable booking retainer of $495.00 or 25% of your estimated total (whichever is more) must accompany your order.  If you choose direct credit card entry, your credit card will only be charged the booking retainer upon confirmation of the availability of your date.  If you choose to send a check or money order, you will be sent a confirmation email and an invoice for the booking retainer.  Either way your date will be held for 7 days to allow for payment to be made.

By submitting an order you agree for yourself and your guests to abide by all of the published wedding guidelines.  Submission of this order is a request for services and is not deemed accepted until the non-refundable booking retainer is processed and you receive written confirmation of the details and a timetable of actions and payments, usually within 48 hours of submission.

Schedule and fares subject to change without notice prior to booking your wedding train.  Prices are guaranteed as soon as you pay your non-refundable booking retainer.  All package prices listed are for roundtrip transportation for the number of guests listed in the package details.  Additional guests up to the maximum listed in package options may be added at additional price as listed in specific package.  Advance order of wedding train packages is required with final payment for all estimated services due 3 days prior to departure.  Trains will run rain or shine.  Boarding of chapel car Everlasting will begin 30 minutes prior to published departure times.  Smoking is only allowed in the open concession car which may or may not be accessible to your wedding party based on package selection and other onboard activities on day of wedding.  A good selection of souvenirs are available for purchase in the Spooner Depot Gift Shop.  Layover at an intermediate point may be available by advance arrangement.  The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad reserves the right to substitute equipment as operating conditions dictate.  Cab rides are available at an additional charge (limited to two persons per trip).  See Wedding Guidelines for additional policies and procedures.
